The Callas, Greek D.I.Y. pioneers led by the brothers Lakis & Aris Ionas, alongside their extensive network of collaborators, continue to pioneer a dynamic artistic collective since 2002. Their expansive repertoire spans art, film, and music, exploring themes of urban symbolism, collective archetypes, and the creative potentials of experimentation, drawing inspiration from various cultural sources including song lyrics, literature, and visual elements. The presentation will feature a synthesis of The Callas (Lakis & Aris Ionas)' diverse visual practice, involving painting, and embroidered tapestry. The artists' profound reflections on death, dreams, and the mysteries of the night will weave seamlessly through the presentation, inviting viewers to explore the interconnectedness of life's fragments and the transient nature of existence.
