The exhibition ‘A Natural Selection’ will be the first cohesive presentation of Amir H. Fallah’s exploration of a new medium: stained glass. Stained glass is an ideal medium to discuss themes of natural vs. manmade, as these works incorporate LED lighting, creating an artificial simulation of nature indoors. What is more, stained glass is also a perfect medium for this body of work, as it is an ancient artistic medium that speaks to the past. In the artist's third solo exhibition with the gallery, 'A Natural Selection' explores themes of nature, belonging, the environment, and man's role in destroying, living in, and attempting to preserve the natural world for the future generations.
